Meet the Team

All CASC Master team members have been extensively trained by Dr Webb. They are currently all working in the NHS in areas such as the North West and London and can offer unique insights and support for your CASC Revision.

We have a very high standard of trainers and only accept trainers who have passed the CASC on their first attempt and demonstrate a keen interest in medical education with high levels of experience in teaching.

Dr Cara Webb

Founder of CASC Master

Acting Consultant psychiatrist

Special interests: General adult and Older peoples psychiatry

"I set up CASC Master as during my own revision I wished there was a good value personalised course, which cares about the needs of the individual.

I also felt some up to date, exam specific, high quality videos would be really helpful hence I have created a video resource bank for others to benefit from.

At CASC Master our ethos is to provide a high quality, individual, personalised service to meet your specific needs. Whether it's your first or last attempt at sitting the CASC we look forward to supporting you and giving you the power to succeed!"

Dr Webb passed all 16 stations in her own CASC examination.

In 2019 she fought against tough competition to win the North West RCPsych Core Psychiatry Trainee of the Year award.

She has a keen interest in medical education and has gained a PGCert in Workplace-based Medical Education.

Based in the North West where she is currently an Acting Consultant Older Adult Psychiatrist.

Dr Ioana Varvari

I am an energetic, committed, and down to earth individual that is aspiring for a career as a Liaison Psychiatrist with a clinical interest in Neuropsychiatry.

I have a natural inclination towards teaching and my long-term career goal is to become a professor of psychiatry.  During my Core Training I have received several teaching award nominations and consecutively won the Trainee of the Year  Medical Education Award hosted by my organisation.

I started my training in UK 3 years ago and as an IMG, I completed my college exams succesfuly and achieved a robust portfolio.

I am looking forward to pass on my experience to keen trainees working towards passing their exams and improving their knowledge and communication skills.  In our sessions I will aim for you to learn the concept of CASC, skills and knowledge needed to pass that can be applied to any scenario.
